50ft 12V LED Strip Kit

This kit provides two 25ft reels of 12V LED tape light totalling 50ft. Each reel carries 900 SMD 2835 emitters rated at 6000K daylight white. The strip is IP44 rated for indoor or outdoor use and ships with a power adapter and dimmer. It suits homeowners and event decorators who need a long, flexible run of cool-white accent lighting.

Upgrade from shorter battery sets

Shorter battery-powered strips often limit run length and require frequent cell changes. This 15M mains-fed kit removes those limits and adds a dimmer for brightness control. The jump is worth it when you need continuous 50ft coverage for patios, balconies or wedding arches without managing multiple power packs.

12V low-voltage constraint

The 12V supply keeps the tape cool and touch-safe but caps the maximum single-run length before voltage drop dims the far end. IP44 protects against splashes but not immersion, so the strip must stay clear of standing water. No cutting points beyond the marked 3-LED segments are provided.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation does the 15 m adhesive backing require?

Clean the mounting surface with alcohol or water, let it dry, then peel the protective liner and press the strip firmly into place.

Where can the 50 ft strip be cut without damaging the circuit?

Cut only at the marked lines spaced every three LEDs; cutting elsewhere will break the electrical path.

What replacement parts might be needed for the IP44 seal over time?

The six included lamp clips can be replaced if they loosen, and the dimmer or 12 V power adapter can be swapped if they fail.
