  • 12 V low-heat operation with BS-verified plug
  • Cuttable flexible design suits many indoor locations
  • Self-adhesive backing plus clips for simple installation

Bright Daylight Strip Kit

The BFKK kit delivers a 16.4 ft reel of 2835 LED tape with 300 diodes emitting 6000 K cool white light. A 12 V power adapter and inline dimmer are included so the strip is ready to install on mirrors, cabinets or under-bed areas.

12 Volt Low-Voltage Operation

Running at 12 V keeps heat output low and allows the BS-verified plug to meet basic safety requirements. The fixed voltage means the strip cannot be powered directly from mains or higher-voltage DC sources without the supplied adapter.

Self-Adhesive With Clip Option

A factory-applied adhesive backing lets you press the tape onto clean, flat surfaces, while the bundled fastening clips add mechanical security where adhesion alone may fail. The ribbon is cuttable at marked intervals and non-waterproof, so indoor dry locations are the practical limit.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 5 m kit or a longer length for under-cabinet lighting?

This kit supplies a single 16.4 ft (5 m) reel with 300 LEDs, giving roughly 300 lumens per metre at 6000 K; measure your run and add extra reels if the total length exceeds 5 m.

How bright is the 300 lumen per metre figure once the strip is stuck under a cabinet?

At 12 V the 2835 LEDs deliver about 300 lm/m of cool white light, which is ample for task lighting on countertops while the built-in dimmer lets you lower output for ambient use.

What does the 12 V power adapter limit in practice?

The included 12 V adapter caps the strip to its rated voltage, keeping heat low and preventing over-drive; the dimmer then adjusts brightness within that 12 V envelope without needing a higher-voltage supply.
