What this shelving is and who it fits

The BFKK 72" 5-tier metal shelving unit is a new storage system built for garages, pantries, warehouses, basements and offices. It suits anyone who needs a freestanding rack that can be reconfigured as inventory changes. Buyers who require enclosed cabinets, wall-mounted units or mobile carts will not be served by this design.

Capacity and headroom

The frame is rated for a total of 2000 lbs across five shelves, giving each tier a 400 lb limit when weight is evenly distributed. Boards with a density of 760 kg/m³ provide the stiffness to reach that figure. Loads heavier than 400 lbs on a single shelf or 2000 lbs overall exceed the tested capacity.

Build, connectors and daily use

High-quality metal framing and thicker boards form a rigid structure that resists wobble under full load. Adjustable connectors let you move crossbars up or down and also split one shelf into two separate units for extra stability. The interlocking design assembles in roughly 10 minutes without nuts or bolts, so reconfiguration stays quick as storage needs shift.

Questions about this item

Will the 11.8-inch depth shelves fit alongside the 72-inch tall cabinet I already have?

Yes, the unit is 11.8 inches deep and 72 inches high, so it sits flush against a wall next to a cabinet of the same height.

How can I verify each shelf holds the rated 400 pounds after assembly?

Load a shelf evenly with known weights totalling 400 pounds; the high-quality metal frame and 760 kg/m³ density boards are designed to support that load without bending.

Does the box include the five shelves and interlocking connectors, or must I buy extra brackets?

The package contains the metal frame, five thicker boards, adjustable connectors and labelled instructions — no nuts, bolts or additional brackets are required.
