8-Outlet Metal Power Strip

This 8-outlet metal power strip delivers 15 A at 125 V for a total capacity of 1875 W. It is built for workshops, garages and offices where multiple devices need reliable power from a single rugged unit. A 15 A circuit-breaker switch cuts power to all outlets with one press. The 14 AWG cord carries the load safely.

1200 J Surge Protection and 1.57 in Spacing

The 1200 J MOV module absorbs spikes from lightning or grid fluctuations before they reach connected equipment. Outlets are spaced 1.57 in centre-to-centre, so large plug blocks fit side by side without crowding. The 6 ft cord reaches distant sockets while the 15 A rating handles heavy combined loads. Protection runs out after a major surge event.

360° Rotating Mounting Tabs and Metal Shell

Mounting tabs on both sides rotate 360 degrees and tuck away when not used, letting you fasten the strip to walls, benches or table edges at any angle. Four screws are included for immediate installation. The all-metal housing resists impact and heat in demanding environments. No desk-clamp or adhesive options are provided.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.57-inch outlet spacing on this strip fit bulky adapters next to each other without blocking neighbouring sockets?

Yes, the 1.57-inch centre-to-centre spacing is designed for large plugs so each of the 8 outlets remains usable even with oversized transformers.

How can I verify the 1200-joule surge protection is active after mounting the strip?

The built-in MOV module works automatically; the illuminated 15-amp circuit-breaker switch stays lit when protection is live and trips if a surge exceeds the 1200-joule rating.

Does the package include the 14AWG cord and mounting hardware, or must I buy them separately?

The 6-foot 14AWG SJT cord is permanently attached and four mounting screws are supplied in the box, so no extra parts are required for installation.
