Capacity and reach
The BFKK BM63 is a new heavy-duty microphone boom arm designed for recording, gaming, streaming and podcasting. Its reinforced metal scissor construction supports microphones weighing up to 2 kg, providing a secure hold that resists shaking from desk impacts or intense use. The desk mount clamps to the work surface and includes a standard 5/8-inch screw for direct microphone attachment.
Included cable management
The package supplies cable ties that route the microphone lead along the arm, keeping the cord tidy and preventing it from snagging on the mechanism. This organisation reduces clutter on the desk and helps maintain a clean signal path by avoiding accidental pulls or kinks in the cable during position changes.
Angle limits and fold range
Vertical articulation reaches 180 degrees while horizontal swing covers 135 degrees, defining the envelope within which the microphone can be positioned. The arm folds compactly against the desk edge when not in use, freeing surface space for other equipment. These fixed angular limits determine the maximum height, depth and lateral offset available to the user.

Questions about this item
Will the scissor-arm joints need tightening or replacement after heavy daily use?
The arm is built from wide, thick metal tubes with multi-reinforced joints rated for 2 kg, so the same hardware should hold without routine tightening.
Which movement limit will I reach first when positioning the mic all day — vertical or horizontal?
Vertical travel stops at 180° while horizontal sweep stops at 135°, so the horizontal limit arrives sooner.
Does the stand itself add any hum or vibration noise during long streaming sessions?
The sturdy boom isolates the microphone from desk vibrations, preventing low-frequency rumble from reaching the capsule.
