Headset identity

This BFKK E1000 USB gaming headset in grey is built for PC and console players who want a single wired headset with integrated 7.1 surround sound. It connects through a USB audio port and uses a 50 mm magnetic neodymium driver with a built-in sound chip for plug-and-play audio on Windows 7, 8, 10 and on PS4 or PS5 consoles.

Who it suits and who it does not

The 2.2 m cable and memory-protein earmuffs with an adjustable headband make it comfortable for long sessions at a desk or on a sofa. Buyers whose device only provides a USB-C port without an adapter, or who need a detachable microphone for pure music listening, should consider other options.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the USB audio connection with on-board 7.1 processing; if your platform supplies a USB-A port you get surround sound instantly, otherwise the headset will not function.

Questions about this item

Does my PC need a USB audio port to use the 7.1 surround sound on this headset?

Yes, the built-in USB audio sound chip requires a USB audio port on Windows 7, 8 or 10 to deliver 7.1 surround sound without extra downloads.

Will the 2.2 m cable reach my PS5 console if I sit away from the TV?

The 2.2 m cable provides enough length for typical living-room setups, letting you sit back from the PS5 without pulling on the connection.

How can I check that the noise-cancelling microphone is working after I plug the headset in?

Speak into the adjustable 120° mic and listen for clear voice pickup in your chat app or console party; the omnidirectional noise reduction should suppress background sounds.
