Portable DAC with dual ES9219 chips delivering 340mW+340mW at 32 ohms via 4.4mm and 3.5mm outputs, supporting PCM768kHz and DSD256 with MQA16X decoding for Android, iOS, Mac and Windows
The BFKK FC4 combines dual ES9219 DAC chips with independent FPGA-based crystal oscillator reclocking. It supports PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD256 decoding. MQA full decoding renders files at 16X. The unit delivers 340 mW per channel into 32 ohms, driving high-sensitivity IEMs and many full-size headphones from a USB-C source. It targets listeners who want portable high-resolution playback without a dedicated player.
The dongle is driver-free on Android, iOS, Mac and Windows 10 or newer. On Windows versions below 10 a driver download is required. iOS devices with a Lightning port need a separate Lightning to USB-C OTG cable. The device draws power from the host, so no charging is needed. Verify that your source has a USB-C port capable of audio output and sufficient current for the amplifier section.
The black aluminium shell houses the dual-chip architecture and reclocking circuitry in a compact stick form factor. Two headphone outputs sit on the same end: a 4.4 mm balanced jack and a 3.5 mm single-ended jack. Plug-and-play operation means no software setup on supported platforms. The balanced output suits cables terminated for 4.4 mm, while the 3.5 mm jack covers standard wired earphones and headphones. Both outputs share the same amplification stage, so switching between them requires only unplugging and replugging.

The FC4 uses a USB-C connection and includes no Lightning adapter. To use it with an iOS device you must purchase a separate Lightning to USB-C OTG cable.
The 4.4 mm jack provides a balanced connection for compatible cables, while the 3.5 mm jack is for standard single-ended headphones. Both share the same 340 mW + 340 mW output at 32 ohms.
It means the FC4 can drive most in-ear monitors and many full-size headphones to loud volumes with low distortion, handling dynamic music passages without clipping or losing detail.
