Pop-up Floor Outlet Kit Gold IP44

This pop-up floor outlet kit provides two 20A tamper-resistant receptacles and two 4.2A USB charging ports in a gold aluminium alloy housing. It is designed for residential or commercial installation on hardwood, carpet, tile, granite or marble surfaces. The IP44-rated cover resists water splashes and dust ingress.

Installation clearance and wiring checks

Verify that the mounting location can accommodate a 10 x 10 x 5.5 cm body with a 12 x 12 cm square cover plate. Ensure at least 20 to 45 mm of space between the bottom box and the finished floor, and reserve a minimum of 200 mm wire length inside the box for connections. The kit includes sealing washers, mounting screws and a junction box.

Weatherproof operation and power delivery

The aluminium alloy cover with gasket achieves IP44 weatherproof performance for outdoor or wet-area use. A built-in damper slows the opening action for smooth deployment. Each USB port supplies up to 4.2A for device charging, while the receptacles handle 20A loads. Stainless steel bottom box resists oxidation for long-term durability.

Questions about this item

What components come inside the box and what must be purchased separately?

The kit includes the pop-up floor outlet cover, bottom junction box, sealing washers and mounting screws. It provides two 20 A tamper-resistant receptacles and two 4.2 A USB charging ports. Electrical wire, conduit, cement and installation tools are not included.

Which capacity or version should I choose for my installation?

This single model supplies 20 A receptacles and 4.2 A USB ports in a gold IP44-rated housing. There are no alternate amperage, colour or port-count versions listed, so the kit as described is the only option.

What does the IP44 rating mean when the outlet is installed in a floor?

IP44 certifies protection against solid objects over 1 mm and water splashing from any direction. With the gasket sealed and the cover closed, the outlet resists rain, cleaning splashes and debris on hardwood, tile, carpet or stone surfaces.
