Two-Pack IP44 Floor Outlet Kit

This BFKK kit supplies two pop-up floor outlet assemblies rated IP44 for water resistance. Each unit combines two 20 A tamper-resistant receptacles with two USB ports delivering 4.2 A total. The silver aluminium-alloy covers and stainless-steel bottom boxes suit indoor counters or outdoor hard surfaces in homes and commercial spaces.

20 A Tamper-Resistant Outlets with 4.2 A USB

The deciding specification is the pair of 20 A tamper-resistant receptacles paired with dual USB charging ports rated at 4.2 A. This combination supports standard North-American plug loads and fast USB charging in a single flush-mount device without requiring a separate charger block.

IP44 Sealed Cover with Damped Pop-Up Action

A gasketed aluminium cover meets IP44 splash protection when closed and opens with a built-in damper for slow, controlled movement. The stainless-steel junction box resists oxidation, and installation requires a 200 mm wire reserve with the box set 20–45 mm below the finished floor.

Questions about this item

How much USB charging current does the 4.2 A rating actually deliver to a phone or tablet?

Each pop-up unit provides two USB ports that share a total of 4.2 A, so a single device can draw up to that amount while two devices split the current between them.

What does the IP44 rating protect against in daily use?

IP44 means the cover is guarded against solid objects over 1 mm and water splashing from any direction, making it suitable for damp floors, countertops and covered outdoor areas.

How deep must the recessed cavity be to fit the 5.5 cm tall box?

The stainless-steel bottom box requires at least 200 mm of clear depth below the finished surface, plus a 20–45 mm gap between the box top and the floor for the pop-up mechanism to operate.
