SKU CH-ANSZ-81BVW

A flush-mount desk grommet supplying two AC outlets and two USB ports through a 10 ft cord

  • Flush-mount design integrates cleanly into desks or walls
  • Intelligent USB chip manages charging for phones and tablets
  • 10 ft cord reaches distant outlets behind furniture
  • Cut-out dimensions 3.8 L × 1.6 H × 1.7 W simplify installation
  • Two AC outlets plus two USB ports keep power within reach

Recessed Desk Power Grommet

The BFKK recessed power grommet installs flush in a desk or table surface and provides two AC outlets plus two USB charging ports. A 10ft extension cord reaches distant wall outlets without extra adapters. The unit is ETL listed and rated for 120 V, 12 A, 60 HZ operation.

Suited for Conference and Home Desks

This grommet suits offices, meeting rooms, hotels and home workstations where a clean, flush-mounted power source is preferred. The cut-out measures 3.8 L by 1.6 H by 1.7 W, so installers must verify the opening before cutting. Buyers who need more than two AC outlets or higher USB current than 2.1 Amp should look at alternative solutions.

Steady 12 Amp AC Delivery

Under continuous load the strip delivers up to 12 A across both AC sockets without tripping, while the intelligent USB chip dynamically splits the 2.1 Amp budget between connected phones or tablets. The 10ft cord maintains voltage stability over its full length during sustained use.

Questions about this item

What size hole do I need to cut in my desk for the 3.8 L × 1.6 H × 1.7 W grommet body?

Cut a rectangular opening measuring 3.8 inches long, 1.6 inches high and 1.7 inches wide; the flange then sits flush with the surface.

Can I plug a 120 V 12 A appliance into the AC outlets while charging a tablet from the 2.1 A USB ports?

Yes, the two AC sockets are rated 120 V / 12 A / 60 Hz and the two USB ports share a 2.1 A intelligent charging chip, so both can be used simultaneously.

How do I confirm the intelligent charging chip is negotiating the correct current for my phone?

The phone will display its normal fast-charge indicator and the grommet’s USB ports will not feel warm under typical 2.1 A load.
