Six-pack two-way radios

This set contains six handheld two-way radios with 16 preset channels selectable by a rotating knob. Each unit supports 50 CTCSS and 105 CDCSS codes per channel for reduced interference. The radios operate at 2 watts transmitting power and include VOX voice control, scanning, low battery alarm and a built-in flashlight. They are designed for teams needing multiple units for coordinated communication.

Bundled accessories

Every radio ships with a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, a charger, a belt clip, a hand strap and an earpiece, all multiplied by six. Three user manuals are included for the whole pack. The accessories let each user wear the radio hands-free, keep it charged and start talking without buying extra parts. No programming cable or PC software is mentioned in the supplied data.

Installation and common issues

Basic operation is straightforward: charge each battery for 3-4 hours, attach the belt clip or hand strap, plug in the earpiece if desired and select a channel with the knob. Range varies widely; expect up to 3 miles in open terrain but only .6 to 1.2 miles in built-up areas. Battery life spans 8-96 hours on standby or 8-12 hours of continuous talk time depending on usage. The hard, drop-proof and rainproof shell helps survival in rough handling, yet dense obstacles remain the main cause of reduced coverage.
