Suits teams needing hands-free radio comms

Security crews, event staff and hospitality workers who use compatible Kenwood or Baofeng handsets can clip the remote mic to a collar for clear transmission in noisy environments. Users with radios that do not accept a K-head two-pin plug will need a different connector type.

Two-pin K-head connector compatibility

The earpieces connect via a K-head two-pin plug that fits models including RT22, RT21, RT68, RT68H, H777, H777H, RT27, RT86, RT86A, RT86S, BF-888S and BF-T26. Verifying that the radio accepts this exact plug is the single specification that decides whether the kit works.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 10-pack and do I need any extra cables?

The pack contains ten D-type earpieces with inline microphone and push-to-talk button; each unit has a fixed 2-pin Kenwood connector so no separate cable is required.

Which connector version should I pick for a Baofeng BF-888S?

Choose the K-head 2-pin version listed; it fits the BF-888S as well as RT22, RT21, RT86S, H-777 and the other models shown in the compatibility list.

How does the 135 cm total length work when the radio is on my belt?

The wire runs 35 cm from the D-ring earpiece down to the PTT clip, then 100 cm from the PTT to the radio connector, giving enough slack for belt or chest carry.
