Panel-mount USB-C female-to-female coupler with gold-plated contacts, aluminium-alloy shell and dust cover for 5 Gbps data and charging
This pair of female-to-female USB-C couplers mounts into standard 86 panels, desktop sockets or ground boxes. Brass gold-plated contacts and an aluminium alloy shell deliver up to 5 Gbps data transfer and charging support for Type-C devices. The tool-free, solderless design suits home AV, stage, cinema and weak-current engineering installations.
Because the USB 3.1 standard must remain compatible with USB 2.0, each connection has roughly a 50 percent chance of failing on first insertion. The industry-standard workaround is to unplug, reverse one side and reinsert. This behaviour is inherent to the specification, not a defect in the coupler.
Verify that your panel cut-out matches the round series mounting format used by the coupler. Confirm the connected equipment uses USB Type-C ports and that the host and device support the required USB 3.1 or 2.0 signalling. No soldering tools are needed, but ensure the mounting surface accepts the standard panel-mount footprint.

The listing supplies two couplers per pack, giving you a spare for a second panel or a future replacement.
The coupler passes USB 3.1 Gen 1 signals at up to 5Gbps, so connected devices can transfer data at that rate provided the host, cable and peripheral all support it.
Because the USB 3.1 standard must stay compatible with USB 2.0, each insertion has about a 50 percent chance of needing a flip; simply reverse one side and re-insert to restore the link.
