What this cable does
The BFKK USB-C to DisplayPort cable connects a Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor. It supports resolutions up to 7680x4320 at 60 Hz and refresh rates such as 3840x2160 at 144 Hz or 2560x1440 at 240 Hz. The 3 metre length suits desk setups where the display sits further from the host.
Check your host and display first
The source device must provide DisplayPort Alternate Mode over its USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port; plain USB data ports will not carry video. Confirm the monitor uses a standard DisplayPort input and is not one of the incompatible models listed. The cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 displays.
Behaviour during long sessions
The 32.4 Gbps HBR3 link and 24K gold-plated connectors maintain stable signalling for HDR, HDCP 2.2 and DSC streams over extended use. The nylon braided jacket and zinc alloy shells resist wear and corrosion, keeping the connection reliable when the cable remains plugged in for hours of gaming or creative work.

Questions about this item
Does the 3 m cable include any adapters or do I need to buy a separate USB-C power brick?
The cable is a single USB-C to DisplayPort lead with 24 K gold-plated connectors and a nylon-braided jacket; no adapters or power bricks are included or required.
Should I choose this 3 m length or a shorter one for 8K 60 Hz on my MacBook Pro?
The 3 m cable is VESA certified for the full 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth, so it delivers 8K 60 Hz at this length without signal loss.
What does the 32.4 Gbps rating actually give me on a 4K 144 Hz monitor?
It provides enough bandwidth for 4K at 144 Hz with HDR and DSC support, plus backward compatibility with DP 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1.
