90 mm Steel Fan Grill Pack

This BGears accessory pack contains two chrome-finished steel grills sized at 90 by 90 by 2 mm. They are designed to fit standard 90 mm case fans, heatsink fans or power-supply fans. The grills are sold new and come as a dual pack. No fan or mounting screws are included in the package.

Replacing Damaged or Missing Grills

Use these grills when an original fan guard is bent, lost or corroded. The steel construction resists deformation better than plastic alternatives. The upgrade is worth it whenever airflow must stay unobstructed while fingers or cables are kept away from spinning blades.

Builders Needing 90 mm Protection

The pack suits anyone fitting or servicing 90 mm fans in a chassis, on a cooler or on a PSU. It is not for systems that use larger or smaller fan mounts, nor for buyers who need mounting hardware supplied in the same box.

Questions about this item

Will the 90 x 90 mm steel grilles line up with the screw holes on my 90 mm case fan?

Yes, the 90 x 90 x 2 mm grilles match standard 90 mm fan mounting spacing; use your existing fan screws to secure them.

Do I need any special tools or hardware to mount these chrome grilles on a heatsink fan?

No special tools are required; align the grille over the fan and fasten with the four screws that came with the fan — omitting screws is the common mistake.

Does the chrome finish on these steel grilles wear off or need recoating over time?

The chrome plating is durable for normal indoor use and does not require recoating; simply wipe dust off with a dry cloth when cleaning the system.
