One 40-count pack of BIC Xtra-Smooth No. 2 mechanical pencils with 0.7 mm medium point and erasers supplies a classroom drawer or multiple student backpacks for the full school year. The pastel barrels add colour coding without extra labels.

No sharpener needed in the kit

Click the built-in eraser to advance the lead, keeping students at their desks during lessons and tests. The plastic body resists breakage and eliminates the mess of wood shavings.

Consistent lines through long sessions

High-quality No. 2 lead writes dark and erases cleanly without smudging, so answer sheets stay neat from the first question to the last. The 0.7 mm point maintains width without sharpening drift.

Questions about this item

How long will the 0.7 mm lead last with daily school use?

Each pencil clicks to advance the No. 2 lead so it stays sharp without sharpening; the 40-count pack is sized to supply a student from the first day through the end of the year.

Do the barrels get warm or slippery during all-day writing?

The pastel plastic barrels stay cool and maintain grip during extended writing sessions; no heat build-up or slick surface is reported.

Are separate erasers or lead refills required to start using them?

No. Every pencil has a built-in eraser that advances the lead when clicked, and the 40-count pack arrives ready to write straight from the box.
