BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers Fine Point

These BIC GPM11BK permanent markers feature a fine point designed for precise writing on most hard-to-mark surfaces. The pack contains one dozen black markers with silver barrels and textured rubber grips for comfort and control. They suit offices, warehouses, and home users who need reliable, permanent marking on glass, metal, plastic, photos, foil-coated papers, and oily or damp surfaces. Cap colour indicates ink colour for quick identification.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As non-electronic writing instruments, these markers produce no heat, noise, or power draw during normal use. The quick-drying, acid-free ink flows smoothly from the fine tip without requiring any external energy source. Ink is formulated not to dry out even when the cap is left off for up to two weeks, reducing waste and ensuring the marker is ready when needed. Fade-resistant colour remains vivid on a wide variety of materials.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous, heavy marking sessions the fine tip maintains consistent ink flow without skipping or flooding. The rubber grip remains comfortable during extended use, and the permanent ink continues to adhere to challenging surfaces such as glass, metal, and oily or damp substrates. Acid-free formulation helps preserve marked documents and photos over time. Not suited for users who require ultra-fine line widths, broad chisel tips, or erasable ink.

Questions about this item

How do I start using the BIC GPM11BK markers and what common mistake should I avoid?

Remove the cap and write immediately; the rubber grip is ready to hold. The mistake is thinking you must prime the tip — these feed ink without shaking or pressing.

What part of the BIC GPM11BK will need replacement first and how do I know?

The ink supply runs out after extended use on surfaces like glass or metal. You will notice the fine tip skipping or the black colour fading, signalling the dozen needs restocking.

What limit appears first when I use the BIC GPM11BK markers continuously for long sessions?

Hand fatigue from the fine-point pressure arrives before the ink dries out, because the formula resists drying even with the cap off for two weeks.
