10-pack fineliner set for detailed writing

This 10-pack supplies ten BIC Intensity fineliners in assorted vivid hues. The .4 mm metal nibs deliver precise lines for note-taking, journaling, and adult coloring. Water-based ink is ACMI approved nontoxic and becomes water-resistant and smear-resistant when dry. Black barrels with color-coded accents allow quick identification.

Capacity and headroom for daily use

Ten pens provide enough units for extended personal use or sharing across a workspace. The fine point handles intricate detail work and template tracing without bleeding through standard paper. Ink flow remains consistent for writing sessions, though very high-volume users will exhaust the pack faster. Heavy coverage on thin stock may show some bleed depending on paper characteristics.

Practical limits of water-based ink

Water-based formulation prevents bleed-through on most papers but cannot match alcohol-based markers for blending or non-porous surfaces. Permanent on paper once dry, yet not designed for archival permanence or outdoor exposure. Metal nibs withstand ruler pressure but can deform under excessive force. Not suitable for fabric, plastic, or glossy media where adhesion fails.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.4 mm nib feel scratchy on the cheaper notebook paper I already use?

The 0.4 mm fine point is designed for fine-detail work and the water-based ink is formulated not to bleed through paper, though results can vary depending on the paper characteristics.

How can I confirm the ink is permanent and smear-resistant once my notes are dry?

The manufacturer states the ink is permanent on paper and becomes water-resistant and smear-resistant when dry, so you can test by lightly rubbing a dried line with a damp fingertip.

Does the 10-pack include every color shown in the product image or do I need to buy specific shades separately?

The pack contains 10 marker pens in assorted bright hues with color-coded barrel accents for identification; no additional pens are required to get the full set.
