Built for students and teachers

The BIC Cristal Xtra Smooth ballpoint pen comes in a 24-count pack of blue ink pens with a medium 1.0 mm point. The transparent hexagonal barrel lets users see the remaining ink level at a glance. Blue ink is the standard choice for formal assignments, everyday note-taking and classroom marking. Each pen measures 5.5118 L x 12.2936 W x 16.6878 H centimeters and weighs 0.15 kilograms.

Smooth ink flow for long sessions

The exclusive Easy-Glide System delivers writing that is up to 35% smoother than traditional BIC ballpoint ink. This consistent flow keeps writing fluid and comfortable through extended class sessions and heavy note-taking. The medium point creates clean, vivid lines that are easy to read on lined paper, notebooks and test forms. No smudging or skipping is mentioned in the product data.

Purchase supports classroom donations

Every pack bought triggers a donation of one pen to teachers and classrooms in need through a partnership with the Kids In Need Foundation. The programme helps stock and ship Supply A Teacher boxes that provide essential tools for educators. Buyers can also create a classroom wish list that includes at least one BIC product to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to have the list cleared. Parts and labor are 100% guaranteed.

Questions about this item

How do I start writing with a new BIC Cristal Xtra Smooth pen and what mistake should I avoid?

Remove the cap and press the 1.0 mm tip to paper; the Easy-Glide System flows immediately so do not shake or tap the pen.

When will a pen from this 24-count pack need replacement?

Replace a pen when the see-through hexagonal barrel shows the blue ink level is empty; each unit is 100 % guaranteed.

What limits how long one pen writes continuously during a long exam?

The 1.0 mm medium point lays down more ink per stroke than a finer tip, so the reservoir empties sooner under sustained writing.
