BIC PrevaGuard Round Stic 8-Pack

The BIC PrevaGuard Round Stic ballpoint pen contains an antimicrobial agent incorporated into the plastic that protects the pen itself by suppressing the growth of bacteria, algae, fungus, and mildew. This pack includes eight medium 1 mm blue pens for everyday writing tasks. The antimicrobial agent should last the lifetime of the pen's plastic unless the plastic is destroyed.

Suits high-volume writers and shared environments

These pens suit offices, schools, or homes where multiple people handle the same stationery and want the pen's surfaces protected against microbial growth. The medium 1 mm tip produces vivid, highly visible lines for note-taking, drafting, and doodling. Buyers who need finer lines for detailed technical drawings or prefer retractable mechanisms should look at something else.

Eight pens with antimicrobial protection

The eight-pack provides enough units for team distribution or long-term personal supply. Each pen writes 90% longer than Papermate InkJoy ST100, delivering extended use before replacement is needed. The antimicrobial agent protects the pen itself and does not protect users or others from disease-causing bacteria, viruses, or germs.

Questions about this item

Do I need any special paper or refills for the BIC PrevaGuard Round Stic 1 mm ballpoint pens?

No special paper or refills are required; these are standard disposable stick ballpoints with a conical 1 mm tip that write on ordinary paper.

Can I mix these PrevaGuard pens with older BIC Round Stic pens I already have?

Yes, they share the same stick style and medium 1 mm conical tip, so they feel consistent alongside older Round Stic pens.

How can I confirm the antimicrobial agent is still active after extended use?

The agent is moulded into the plastic barrel and lasts for the lifetime of the pen unless the plastic is destroyed; no separate indicator is needed.
