Everyday writing comfort

The BIC SCSM11BK Soft Feel retractable ballpoint pen comes in a pack of 11 with black ink and a 1.0 mm medium point. A rubberized barrel and nonslip grip provide secure handling during long sessions. The click mechanism extends and retracts the tip cleanly. Barrel colour matches the ink for quick identification.

Consistent output over time

Water-resistant, quick-drying ink reduces smudges when pages are handled soon after writing. The medium point lays down a steady line without feathering on standard office paper. Grip material stays tacky even after extended use, so control does not degrade. Retractable design protects the tip when the pen is carried in a pocket or bag.

Practical limits of a ballpoint

Oil-based ink cannot match the saturation of gel or rollerball formulations on glossy media. The fixed 1.0 mm width cannot be swapped for finer detail work. Rubberized barrels can attract lint and dust in dirty environments. A dozen pack suits shared supplies but may exceed the need of a single user.
