Adds wireless CarPlay to factory wired systems in 2017-2022 vehicles using dual-band WiFi for iPhone 12-16
This adapter converts a factory wired CarPlay system into a wireless connection. It plugs into the vehicle's existing USB port and pairs automatically with an iPhone on each drive. The unit supports iPhone models from the 5 through the 13 Pro Max running iOS 12 to 16. It is designed only for cars manufactured between 2017 and 2022 that already have wired CarPlay fitted.
The adapter uses 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands to maintain a reliable link between phone and head unit. Because it draws power from the factory USB port, there is no extra wiring or separate power supply to route. The plug-and-play design means the driver simply starts the car and the wireless session begins without manual reconnection steps.
This product replaces the physical Lightning cable required for standard CarPlay operation. The jump is worth it for drivers who want to keep their phone in a pocket or bag while accessing navigation, music and Siri. It does not add CarPlay to vehicles that lack the factory system, nor does it support Android Auto or phones beyond the listed iPhone range.

It operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi for the wireless CarPlay connection.
The vehicle must come with factory wired CarPlay already built into the head unit.
Plug the adapter into the car's USB port, then pair the iPhone via the on-screen prompt; skipping the on-screen pairing step prevents the wireless link from activating.
