Binks 1466 Conventional Spray Gun

The Binks 1466-12LV-B1S is a conventional spray gun built for industrial and automotive coatings. Its gravity-feed design uses a 4 oz cup and a hardened stainless steel nozzle. The gun delivers a medium fluid speed suited to general finishing work.

Air Consumption and Pattern Limits

The gun draws 7.8 cfm at 30 psi to produce a fan pattern of 4 in to 6 in. A 1.2 mm nozzle controls the material flow for medium-viscosity fluids. Performance depends on a compressed-air supply that can maintain this pressure and volume.

Compressor and Cup Compatibility

Verify that your compressor can sustain 7.8 cfm at 30 psi before ordering. The 1/4 in air inlet must match your hose fitting or an adapter. The 4 oz cup capacity suits smaller jobs; larger projects will require frequent refills.

Questions about this item

Which nozzle size suits my coating?

The 1.2 mm nozzle handles medium-viscosity industrial and automotive coatings with a 4 in to 6 in pattern.

What does 7.8 cfm at 30 psi mean for my compressor?

Your compressor must deliver at least 7.8 cfm at 30 psi to keep the gun running without pressure drop.

What does the 1/4 in air inlet limit?

The 1/4 in inlet fits standard shop hoses and caps airflow to what that fitting can pass.
