Goose Deterrent for Large Outdoor Areas

The Bird-X electronic repeller uses sonic recordings to make up to 1.5 acres uninhabitable for geese, ducks and waterfowl. The single-speaker unit mounts on a wall and runs on 110 V AC power. Adjustable volume ranges from silent to 110 dB. It targets corporate grounds, farms, golf courses, large yards, parking lots and ponds.

Upgrade from Visual or Chemical Deterrents

This system replaces decoys, sprays or netting that geese quickly ignore. The jump is worth it when the problem area exceeds the reach of smaller ultrasonic units or when persistent flocks return daily. Behavior modification teaches birds not to come back rather than simply startling them temporarily.

Limits of Sonic Coverage

Sound travels in straight lines and weakens behind solid barriers, so buildings, dense trees or hills create shadow zones birds can exploit. The 110 dB maximum is measured at the speaker; effective range drops with wind, rain and ambient noise. Units cannot protect areas larger than the stated coverage without additional speakers.
