Bird Repellent Spikes 25 ft Coverage

The Bird-X SP-25 provides 25 feet of transparent plastic spike strips designed to deter birds from landing on ledges, rooftops, fences, and other structures. Each section measures 6 1/2 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches high with a 1 3/4 inch base. The kit includes 25 individual spike sections for continuous coverage.

Suitable for Heavy Bird Pressure Areas

These spikes target pigeons, sparrows, starlings, crows, grackles, and blackbirds in areas experiencing heavy bird pressure. They are intended for use on garages, patios, playgrounds, stables, and similar outdoor surfaces. Buyers who need a solution for very small songbirds or who require included mounting hardware should consider other options.

Simple Layout with Separate Fixings

The plastic base allows the strips to be positioned on flat or curved surfaces using adhesive, screws, or ties purchased separately. No mounting hardware is included in the package. Installation issues typically arise when the surface is not cleaned thoroughly before applying adhesive or when gaps are left between sections.

Questions about this item

What surface area can the 25 ft length cover on a ledge or rooftop?

The 25 ft overall length covers a continuous 25-foot run along fences, garages, ledges, rooftops or similar flat surfaces.

Will the 6 1/2 in wide base fit on the narrow fence rail I already have?

The base width is 1 3/4 in, so it sits on most standard fence rails, parapets and ledge tops without overhang.

How can I confirm the spikes are deterring pigeons and sparrows after installation?

Check the treated areas daily; a noticeable drop in landing birds and absence of fresh droppings shows the spikes are working as intended.
