25 ft CAT6 stranded patch cable

This 25-foot Category 6 patch cable uses stranded conductors and gold-plated RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. The orange jacket aids quick identification in dense cable runs. It is built for network devices that need a flexible, standards-compliant link.

Snagless booted design for repeated moves

The moulded, snagless boots protect the locking tabs during frequent insertion and removal. Stranded construction resists fatigue when the cable is routed around corners or repositioned. Gold contacts maintain low resistance over many mating cycles.

Simple plug-in with one common pitfall

Installation is a direct RJ-45 to RJ-45 connection with no tools required. The main issue installers encounter is exceeding the recommended channel length when this 25-foot patch cord is combined with long horizontal runs. RoHS compliant and covered by a two-year limited warranty.

Questions about this item

Does the stranded construction make the cable run hotter or draw more power during all-day use?

No, the patch cable is completely passive and draws no power, so it generates no heat regardless of how long it stays connected.

What network ports must my equipment already have to plug this cable in?

Both devices need a standard RJ-45 female port, which is the common Ethernet jack found on routers, switches, PCs and most network gear.

Will the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors mate reliably with the older Cat5e wall plates I already have installed?

Yes, the RJ-45 plug is the same physical interface used on Cat5e, so the cable fits and locks into existing wall plates and patch panels without any adapter.
