Black Box Corporation C6ABC50-GN-1000 CAT6a 650 MHz 1000 ft 23 AWG 10 Gbit/s adapter

Solid UTP cable for structured wiring

This Category 6a bulk cable runs 1000 feet of 23 AWG solid conductors in a green CMR-rated PVC jacket. It is tested to 650 MHz and supports 10 Gbit/s data rates with PoE and PoE+ capability. The reel suits installers pulling horizontal runs in commercial buildings.

Suited for permanent UTP installations.

Contractors terminating wall plates, patch panels or switch ports in riser spaces will match the spec. The solid-core design is not intended for flexible patch leads, so users who need pre-made jumpers or stranded conductors should look at a different cable type.

650 MHz bandwidth enables 10 Gbit/s over 100 m

The 650 MHz rating is the key figure that qualifies this cable for 10 Gbit/s Ethernet at the full channel distance. If the project only requires 1 Gbit/s, a lower-category cable would also work, but the 650 MHz headroom is what makes this part the right choice for 10 Gbit/s certification.
