Category 6a UTP plenum cable supports 10 Gbit/s over 1000 ft with 23 AWG solid conductors

  • Supports 10 Gbit/s data transfer with Category 6a 650 MHz performance
  • Plenum CMP jacket meets fire-safety requirements for in-wall and ceiling runs
  • 23 AWG solid conductors enable reliable Power over Ethernet and PoE+ delivery
  • Halogen-free LSZH material reduces toxic smoke in fire emergencies
  • TAA-compliant lifetime-warranty cable manufactured in Taiwan for government projects

Plenum-rated Cat6a cable for 10 Gbit/s networks

This 1000 ft bulk cable meets Category 6a performance up to 650 MHz and supports 10 Gbit/s data rates. The CMP plenum jacket and LSZH construction satisfy fire-safety codes for air-handling spaces. It is suited for installers running horizontal runs in commercial buildings.

Solid 23 AWG conductors with no shielding

Unshielded twisted pairs keep the cable lightweight and flexible during pulls through conduit or tray. Bare wire ends terminate directly onto patch panels, wall plates or keystone jacks without additional prep. Halogen-free materials reduce toxic smoke in the event of fire.

Green jacket aids visual identification in dense

The colour helps technicians trace links quickly in crowded cabinets or raised-floor environments. TAA compliance qualifies the cable for U.S. federal procurement projects. Lifetime limited warranty covers the installed link for the life of the cabling system.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 23 AWG solid conductors into a patch panel or wallplate, and what step do installers often miss?

Strip the CMP plenum jacket carefully, untwist each pair only at the termination point, and seat all eight wires fully into the IDC slots before punching down; the step often missed is verifying the 650 MHz NEXT performance with a certifier after termination.

What maintenance or replacement will this 1000 ft green UTP cable need over its lifetime?

The cable itself requires no scheduled maintenance; replacement is only necessary if the plenum jacket is crushed, kinked beyond the minimum bend radius, or if a certifier later shows NEXT failures on any 10 Gbit/s link.

What limit appears first when this Cat6a cable runs 10 Gbit/s PoE+ traffic continuously?

The 650 MHz bandwidth ceiling and 23 AWG conductor resistance combine to make temperature rise inside bundled cable the first sustained-use limit, especially in plenum spaces with restricted airflow.
