Cat6a 650 MHz FUTP cable for network installs

This 1000 ft Cat6a cable supports 10 Gbit/s data transfer at 650 MHz. It uses 23 AWG solid conductors with foil and braid shielding to control alien crosstalk and near-end crosstalk. The CMP-rated LSZH jacket is halogen-free and RoHS compliant. Supplied on a spool for easy pulling in plenum spaces.

Suited for structured wiring in commercial buildings

Installers running horizontal or backbone links in plenum areas will meet Cat6a performance with this reel. The bare-wire ends require termination onto jacks or patch panels. Buyers who need pre-terminated patch cords or a different jacket rating should look at other cable types.

Verify plenum rating and conductor type before

Confirm that local code requires CMP LSZH cable for the intended pathway. Ensure termination tools and connectors match 23 AWG solid wire. Check that the 1000 ft length fits the longest planned run plus slack allowance.

Questions about this item

What termination hardware is required for the 23 AWG solid conductors?

The solid 23 AWG conductors are designed for Category 6a-rated keystone jacks or patch panels to maintain 650 MHz performance

Can this 1000 ft Cat6a cable run alongside older Cat5e or Cat6 cables without interference?

Yes, the FUTP shielding and alien crosstalk mitigation allow it to operate next to legacy cables while supporting 10 Gbit/s data rates

How do I verify the installed link meets the 650 MHz specification?

Use a Category 6a-certified cable analyser to test alien crosstalk, NEXT and return loss across the full 1000 ft length
