Black Box CAT6 Shielded RJ-45 250-Pack

This pack supplies two hundred and fifty shielded RJ-45 modular plugs rated for Category 6 performance. It is intended for installers and network technicians who terminate bulk cable on site for structured cabling projects. The plugs accept standard solid or stranded conductors used in commercial and residential installations.

Shielded Plugs With Loading Bars

Each plug includes integral shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference in noisy environments. The package provides a separate bag of loading bars that arrange conductors into the correct sequence before crimping, improving termination consistency. An instruction sheet is also included to guide first-time users through the assembly steps.

Bulk Quantity For Large Jobs

With two hundred and fifty plugs in a single bag, the kit covers extensive patch-panel or workstation deployments without reordering. The quantity suits multi-floor office builds or data-centre refreshes where hundreds of drops are terminated. Smaller projects or occasional repairs may find the pack excessive and the per-unit cost less attractive.

Questions about this item

How often will the shielded RJ-45 plugs need to be replaced in a permanent installation?

The plugs are passive connectors with no moving parts; they only require replacement if the cable is damaged or the termination fails.

What is the first limitation when terminating all 250 shielded plugs in one session?

The 250-plug quantity and the included loading bars set the practical limit for a single batch.

Does the shielded CAT6 plug generate any heat or noise when the link runs continuously?

No — the connector is a passive metal housing with no active components, so it produces no heat or noise.
