Dual-Head KVM Switch for Two Computers

The Black Box KV9622A lets one keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup control two computers. It supports video resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 across both DVI ports. The unit is built for administrators who need to manage a pair of workstations or servers from a single console without extra peripherals.

USB Console and Cables Included

Bundled USB cables connect the switch to each target computer for keyboard, mouse and video signals. This removes the need to purchase separate link cables and allows immediate deployment. Buyers who require more than two ports or DisplayPort and HDMI inputs will need a different KVM model.

Questions about this item

Will the dual DVI video ports need new cables if I upgrade to monitors above 2560 x 1600?

The switch supports up to 2560 x 1600, so higher-resolution monitors would exceed its video capability and require a different KVM.

What is the first limit reached when running two 1920 x 1200 displays continuously?

The 2560 x 1600 maximum resolution per head is the limiting factor; sustained use at 1920 x 1200 stays within that bound.
