This Black Box LFP443 transceiver provides a copper RJ45 interface for 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps links over twisted pair. It uses an SGMII electrical interface and supports distances up to 100 metres. The module follows the SFP mini-GBIC form factor for hot-pluggable installation.

Suitable for RJ45 uplinks, not fibre

Network engineers extending copper connections between switches or routers will find this module fits the requirement. Installations that need single-mode or multi-mode fibre links cannot use this copper transceiver. Buyers requiring longer reach than 100 metres over copper should consider other media.

SGMII electrical interface
