What it is

The Black Box ServSwitch DT DVI is a four-port KVM switch that lets one user control four computers from a single DVI monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse. It supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and uses solid-state switching with keyboard and mouse emulation for faster, more reliable port changes.

Who it suits

Suits administrators or developers who manage up to four PCs, Macs or Linux systems at a desk and need DVI-D video with USB peripherals. Not for buyers who need more than four ports, higher resolutions, DisplayPort or HDMI connectivity, multi-user access, or rack-mount installation.

Deciding specification

Maximum video resolution is 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz over DVI-D; if your displays require a higher resolution or a different video interface, this switch will not meet the requirement.
