Two-Port 4K60 DisplayPort KVM Switch

The Black Box Innovations KV62-CBL lets one DisplayPort monitor, keyboard, mouse and audio set control two computers. It supports 4K at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz through DisplayPort 1.2. A wired Quick Change button provides instant switching. Fixed 1.3 m combination cables and a 1.5 m button cable are included.

For Dual-System Users Needing Simple Switching

Suits anyone juggling two DisplayPort workstations who wants zero-driver USB 2.0 peripheral sharing and combined audio/mic pass-through. Not for setups requiring more than two ports, USB 3.x speeds, DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth or multi-monitor configurations.

Handles 4K60 and 1080p120 Comfortably

The DisplayPort 1.2 link cleanly drives 4K at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz. USB 2.0 hub ports manage keyboards, mice and storage devices without extra drivers. Headroom ends at two computers; a third system or higher refresh rates at 4K would need a different switch.

Questions about this item

Do I need to provide my own DisplayPort monitor and cables for the KV62-CBL?

The switch includes fixed 1.3 m combination cables for both computers and a 1.5 m Quick Change button cable; you only need a DisplayPort monitor and USB keyboard and mouse.

Will the KV62-CBL pass 1080p 120 Hz from an older GPU over DisplayPort 1.2?

Yes, DisplayPort 1.2 on this switch supports up to 1080@120Hz as well as 4K@60Hz, so older GPUs running high-refresh 1080p will work.

How can I confirm the KV62-CBL is switching video and USB correctly after connecting both PCs?

Press the Quick Change button; the active-port LED changes and the monitor instantly shows the other computer's desktop while keyboard and mouse control follows.
