Secure KVM Peripheral Defender NIAP 4.0 Certified

This secure KVM peripheral defender is NIAP 4.0 certified for high-assurance environments. It provides HDMI video and CAC support for operators handling classified or sensitive data. Government agencies and defence contractors use it to isolate trusted peripherals from untrusted networks. The unit ships new with a 12 VDC wallmount supply and international adapter clips.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm your video source and display both use HDMI connectors compatible with the defender. Ensure the attached CAC reader is supported by your smart-card middleware and operating system. Check that the 12 VDC power supply input voltage matches your local mains supply using the included adapter clips. The rubber feet are pre-attached for immediate desktop placement.

Thermals noise and power draw

The device operates from an external 12 VDC wallmount supply rated at 36 W maximum output. No internal fans are present so acoustic output is negligible in normal use. Power consumption remains low during continuous secure switching operations. The compact enclosure relies on passive convection for thermal management.
