8GB DDR5 5600 SODIMM module with 262-pin layout for compatible laptops and small-form-factor systems
This module is a new 8 GB DDR5 5600 SODIMM built for laptops and small-form-factor systems that require 262-pin memory. It suits owners upgrading a compatible notebook or mini PC to the rated speed. It is not for desktop DIMM slots or for systems limited to earlier DDR generations.
The single specification that decides fit is the 262-pin DDR5 interface running at 5600 MT/s (PC5 44800). Only platforms with a DDR5 SODIMM controller and the correct slot keying will accept it. Buyers whose devices use a different pin count or memory type cannot use this module.
Installation follows the standard SODIMM procedure: power off the device, open the memory access panel, align the notch with the slot key, insert at an angle and press down until the retention clips click. The usual issue is a slot that is keyed for another generation or a firmware version that does not yet support the rated speed.

The module runs at 5600 MT/s, giving a peak transfer rate of PC5 44800 MB/s when the system controller operates at that speed.
It follows the 262-pin DDR5 SODIMM standard, which caps the module at the DDR5 5600 data rate and prevents insertion into non-DDR5 slots.
It requires a 262-pin DDR5 SODIMM slot with the DDR5 key notch; the pin count and notch location are fixed for this generation.
