Dual-Beam Reach

The BLACK PANDA xy-527-a combines a white laser LEP core for extreme distance with a 24-chip side array for wide-area light. It serves campers, night-shift workers and anyone needing both a focused search beam and a broad work light in one handheld unit. The zoomable head shifts between the two characters instantly.

Upgrade From Single-Focus Lights

This model replaces torches that only throw or only flood, removing the need to carry separate spot and area lights. The jump is worth it when you regularly alternate between scanning a treeline at 3284 ft and lighting a 2500 sq ft campsite or work zone. It is not for buyers who only ever need a simple pocket beam.

Sustained Output Behaviour

A built-in lithium-polymer pack delivers up to 20 hours of continuous runtime and recharges via USB-C in roughly 4 hours. An LCD power display reports remaining capacity so output can be managed through long shifts. The aluminium body resists water and dissipates heat during extended high-mode use.

Questions about this item

How much space does the 2.7 x 2.7 x 7.6 inch body need in a bag or mount?

The flashlight measures 2.7 inches wide, 2.7 inches deep and 7.6 inches high, so it fits in most tool pouches, glove compartments or MOLLE loops sized for a standard tactical light.

What is the correct way to cycle through the 5 modes and avoid accidental shut-off?

Click the side switch once to advance through High, Medium, Strobe, White Side Light and Red/Blue Warning Light; after 10 seconds of use a single press turns the light off instead of changing mode.

When will the built-in lithium-polymer pack need replacement?

The sealed pack is rated for roughly 500 full charge cycles; with daily recharging that equals several years before runtime drops below the 20-hour specification.
