Physical QWERTY smartphone for messaging

The BlackBerry Classic SQC100-1 pairs a 3.5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a hardware keyboard for tactile typing. It runs BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 on a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor with 2GB RAM. Factory unlocked for GSM, HSPA and LTE networks on supported bands. Blue finish with 16GB internal storage.

16GB storage and 2GB RAM handle core apps

The 16GB capacity stores contacts, email archives and essential productivity apps comfortably. The dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and 2GB RAM keep the hub, browser and calendar responsive for daily communication. Heavy multitasking or large media libraries will exceed the available headroom.

Upgrades from legacy BlackBerry OS 7

Owners of older BlackBerry handsets gain a modern square touchscreen at 720 x 720 resolution and LTE speeds on bands including 800, 850, 900, 1800, 1900, 2100 and 2600 MHz. The jump is worth it when a physical keyboard and BlackBerry Hub remain essential to your workflow.

Questions about this item

Will the Nano SIM slot accept the same card I use in my older GSM phone?

Yes, the Classic uses a single Nano SIM, so any active GSM Nano SIM from another handset will work once inserted.

How can I confirm the 3.5-inch 720 x 720 display and dual-core 1.5 GHz processor are running correctly after first boot?

Open Settings > About to verify the screen resolution shows 720 x 720 and the processor lists as dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait.

Does the box include a charger and cable, or must I buy them separately?

The factory box supplies the handset, battery, charger, USB cable and documentation; no extra accessories are required for basic operation.
