1 RU HD Live Production Switcher

The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD is a compact 1 RU live production switcher built for professional video workflows. It handles up to 10 individual 3G/HD-SDI inputs for connecting cameras and sources. The unit delivers program output via six 3G-SDI BNC outputs and a webcam output over USB Type-C. 3G-SDI Interface Limits

The switcher operates exclusively over 3G-SDI and HD-SDI connections using BNC connectors. Each of the 10 inputs includes a frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter to align mismatched sources. This allows mixing cameras without genlock and computer video signals directly. The standard does not carry embedded control data beyond the video payload, so tally and camera control require separate pathways.
