Portable Low Profile Control Panel

The Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel is a portable low profile control panel built for colour grading. It provides three high resolution trackballs and twelve precision machined control knobs for primary correction. Eighteen dedicated keys on the right side cover common grading features and playback controls. Independent editors and colourists who need a truly portable solution will find it suited to on set work broadcast trucks and education environments.

Easy Installation and Common Issues

The panel connects to a computer running DaVinci Resolve software and requires no additional hardware assembly. Setup is completed by plugging in the device and configuring the panel within the application preferences. What usually goes wrong is an incompatible software version or missing driver updates which prevent the trackballs and knobs from being recognised. Users should verify that the installed Resolve release supports this hardware before first use.

Sustained Load Behaviour

During extended grading sessions the three trackballs and twelve knobs maintain consistent tactile response without drift. The low profile design keeps the control surface stable on a desk or cart for long periods. Eighteen dedicated keys retain reliable actuation across repeated takes and playback cycles. The panel is intended for continuous professional use rather than short bursts and its layout supports uninterrupted workflow through full grading passes.
