Live-streaming hardware encoder

The Blackmagic Design Web Presenter 4K is a professional streaming engine built for broadcasters and event producers who need to send live 4K video directly to platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. It also functions as a high-quality USB webcam for Skype, Zoom or any streaming software running on Mac, Windows, Linux or Chromebook.

Redundant power and monitoring

Dual AC and DC inputs keep the stream running if one supply fails, while a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port provides a wired network link. An SDI loop-through passes the source signal downstream, and a dedicated monitor output shows video, audio meters, trend graphs and SDI technical data at up to 1080p60 for confidence monitoring.

12G-SDI input for UHD 4K sources

The single specification that decides fit is the 12G-SDI input, which accepts 12G, 6G and 3G signals up to UHD 2160p. If your camera or switcher only outputs 3G-SDI at 1080p, the unit will still ingest it, but you will not utilise the 4K streaming capability that defines this model.
