1S Battery Voltage Tester for RC Models

This tester checks single-cell 3.7V or 3.8V Li-ion, Li-Po, LiFe and Li-Hv packs. It accepts Micro JST 1.25, red JST, Molex MX2.0 and PH2.0 plugs. The unit displays voltage for four channels in sequence. It is built for hobbyists who fly micro quadcopters or run small RC boats.

Four Connector Types and Channel Cycling

The four built-in ports let you test different pack styles without adapters. Each channel shows its own reading in turn, so you can compare cells quickly. Detection accuracy is 3.65V±0.01V, 4.20V±0.01V and 4.35V±0.01V across the 2.50–4.35V input range. No extra functions such as balancing or internal-resistance measurement are included.

Plug-and-Read Operation with Polarity Warning

Insert a pack and the display lights up instantly; no drivers or setup are required. The only common issue is reversed polarity — the screen stays blank if positive and negative are swapped. At 60×25×13 mm and 12 grams it fits in a field box, but it cannot test multi-cell packs or high-voltage chemistries.

Questions about this item

Will the JST 1.25 or PH2.0 connectors wear out after repeated battery testing?

The tester weighs 12 grams and uses four fixed connector types — Micro JST 1.25, Red JST, Molex MX2.0 and PH2.0 — with no moving parts or replaceable contacts listed.

What voltage limit stops the tester from reading a 1S Li-Hv cell at full charge?

The input range tops out at 4.35 V, so a 1S Li-Hv cell at 4.35 V ±0.01 V is the highest voltage the unit can display.

Does the display generate noticeable heat when left cycling through CH1 to CH4 all day?

The device draws power only from the battery under test, has no internal supply and measures 60×25×13 mm, so it produces no measurable heat during continuous readout.
