16-Channel Hybrid DVR

The Bluecctv 16CH Hybrid DVR records up to sixteen camera channels at 1080P resolution with a pre-installed 1 TB hard drive. It accepts HD-TVI, analog and IP cameras on the same recorder. The unit transmits video, audio and PTZ control data over a single coaxial cable up to 500 metres without video loss. Real-time preview runs at 25 or 30 frames per second with no perceptible delay.

Installers needing mixed camera support

This recorder suits installers who want to combine existing analog cabling with newer HD-TVI or IP cameras on one platform. It is not for buyers who require more than sixteen channels or who need a pure IP NVR without coaxial inputs. Sites that demand fibre-optic transmission or wireless camera pairing should look at alternative system types.

Check camera compatibility and cable runs

Verify that each camera you plan to connect matches the supported HD-TVI, analog or IP formats before ordering. Ensure coaxial cable lengths stay within the 300 to 500 metre range for reliable signal transmission. Confirm the 1 TB storage capacity meets your required retention period at 1080P 25/30 fps recording.

Questions about this item

Does the 16-channel hybrid DVR need a coaxial cable already in place for the analog and HD-TVI cameras?

Yes, it follows the same connection structure as an original analogue system and transmits composite video, audio and PTZ data over one coaxial cable up to 300-500 m with no video loss.

Can I keep my older analogue cameras and still record at 1080P on this 16-channel recorder?

The unit is a tribrid recorder that accepts analogue, HD-TVI and IP cameras, so existing analogue cameras will work alongside newer 1080P HD-TVI or IP channels.

How can I confirm the DVR is recording correctly after installation?

Check that each channel shows real-time preview without delay at 1080P or 720P running at 25 or 30 fps and verify footage is writing to the installed 1 TB hard drive.
