Bluecctv 1.3MP IR camera with 2.8mm lens

The Bluecctv BL-CMT2512H-28 is a 1.3 megapixel security camera built around a 1/3 inch sensor and a fixed 2.8mm lens. It delivers true day/night operation and reaches up to 100ft (30m) of infrared illumination. An IP66 rating protects the housing against dust and heavy water jets for outdoor mounting.

12V DC power and Smart IR included

The camera runs on a 12V DC supply that must be sourced separately. Smart IR automatically adjusts the infrared intensity to prevent overexposure when objects move close to the lens. Buyers who need a wider field of view or higher resolution should consider other models. No network video recorder or mounting bracket is bundled.

Questions about this item

How often should the IR LEDs be checked after prolonged night use?

The camera uses Smart IR to prevent over-exposure at close range; inspect the 100ft IR range annually for any dimming.

What component reaches its limit first during continuous outdoor exposure?

The IP66-rated housing handles rain and dust, so the 12V power supply is the first part to verify under sustained load.
