BlueDiamond 161107 Portable Audio

The BlueDiamond 161107 is a compact wired speaker built around a 52 mm driver and a built-in resonator that expands for deeper sound. It connects through a 3.5 mm stereo cable to phones, tablets, notebooks and portable players. A 300 mAh rechargeable battery powers up to 7 hours of playback. The black unit suits travellers who want shared audio without headphones.

Setup and Common Issues

Plug the 3.5 mm cable into the source device and extend the resonator chamber; no drivers or external power supply are needed on Windows or Mac. A short USB Standard A to mini B cable charges the battery in up to 4 hours. The fixed 6 cm audio lead and 3 cm charge cable limit placement options. Losing either proprietary cable stops operation until replaced.

Wired Audio Practical Limits

The 3.5 mm analogue connection avoids pairing steps but tethers the speaker to the source device. Frequency response spans 100 Hz to 18 kHz at the amplifier and 300 Hz to 18 kHz at the driver, so deep bass below 100 Hz is not reproduced. Maximum output is 2.4 W, adequate for personal listening but not for larger gatherings. Battery life varies with volume level.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 161107 speaker is producing the full 100 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response after setup?

Play a test track spanning low bass to high treble; the 52 mm driver and built-in resonator should reproduce the 100 Hz to 18 kHz amplifier range and 300 Hz to 18 kHz speaker range without distortion at the 2.4 W output level.

What cables are included with the 161107 and what must I supply myself?

The box contains a built-in 3.5 mm stereo cable (6 cm / 2.5 in.) and a USB Standard A to USB mini B charging cable (3 cm / 5 in.); no additional cables are required for audio or charging.

Which version of the 161107 should I choose for maximum portable play time?

The single model 161107 has a 300 mAh lithium battery rated for up to 7 hours of music playback; there are no alternative capacity versions to select.
