1-inch LB conduit outlet body

The Bluekote LB37CG-TB is a 1-inch LB-style conduit outlet body made from iron with a zinc-plated and powder-coated gray finish. It is designed for use with IMC and RMC conduit systems where a 90-degree directional change is required. The unit ships pre-assembled with a cover and integral gasket for immediate installation.

Threaded hubs simplify mounting

Threaded hub connections allow the body to be screwed directly onto compatible 1-inch conduit without special tools. The flat back design suits surface mounting, while the included 370F cover and gasket seal the 10.6 cu in interior against moisture. Installers should verify thread engagement and gasket seating to prevent water ingress at the hub joints.

Limited to 90-degree LB turns

The LB body style only accommodates a single 90-degree turn between perpendicular conduit runs. It cannot be used for straight pulls, T-configurations or angles other than 90 degrees. The 10.6 cu in capacity restricts the number and size of conductors permitted by code, so larger wire fills require a different body style.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the LB conduit body is seated correctly after threading it onto the 1 in conduit?

The 90 degree turn should align cleanly, the integral gasket compresses evenly, and the cover bolts fasten without forcing.

What comes with the LB37CG-TB and what must I source separately?

The body, pre-assembled cover and integral gasket are included; compatible 370F cover is listed separately if a spare is needed.

Which version suits a 1 in IMC or RMC run needing a 90 degree pull point?

This LB style body with 10.6 cu in capacity and 1 in threaded hubs matches that requirement.
