Slipper Tag Remover for AM 58Khz EAS

The Bluesky Marketplace DT009 is a handheld detacher designed for retail environments using AM 58Khz electronic article surveillance. It removes only Slipper shaped hard tags and cannot release any other tag type. The unit is moulded from dark grey ABS plastic and measures 170 by 103 millimetres with a net weight of 260 grams.

Mechanical operation without power or batteries

Because the remover works purely by mechanical leverage, it delivers consistent release force for as long as the mechanism remains intact. There is no motor, coil or battery to degrade, so sustained use at a busy checkout does not reduce its ability to unlock tags. The ABS housing resists cracking under repeated hand pressure in a supermarket setting.

Tool-free setup with a single compatibility

The package contains one remover that is ready to use immediately — no wiring, mounting or software configuration is required. The only installation risk is attempting to remove an incompatible tag; the device will not engage round, pencil or other hard-tag profiles. Staff should verify that all merchandise uses Slipper shaped tags before relying on this unit.

Questions about this item

Does the DT009 remover make any noise or need power during all-day use?

It operates without any power supply or battery, so it runs silently and produces no heat during continuous use.

What tag type must I already own for the DT009 to work?

You need Slipper shaped Hard Tags that run on the AM 58Khz EAS system; the remover cannot release any other tag style.

Will the DT009 damage older AM 58Khz tags I keep in stock?

The tool only unlocks Slipper shaped Hard Tags; it has no effect on other tag designs and does not alter the 58Khz frequency.
