Retail Security Tool

This magnetic detacher is built for supermarket and convenience-store staff who need to release display-hook locks quickly at the point of sale. The compact 120 by 23 by 12 mm black ABS housing fits in a pocket or on a lanyard for immediate access during busy trading hours.

Passive Magnetic Operation

No batteries or mains power are required because the 5000 gs permanent magnet supplies the holding and release force directly. Silent operation avoids checkout distraction and the solid-state construction eliminates mechanical wear in high-throughput environments.

Single-Unit Packaging

The box contains only the magnet key itself, so no additional drivers, software or mounting hardware are needed. Staff can begin detaching security hooks straight from the package without setup delays or compatibility checks.

Questions about this item

How do you install the S3 hook magnet onto a display fixture and what step is often missed?

Position the 120 by 23 by 12 mm black ABS body against the metal mounting surface so the 5000 gs magnet seats fully; the step often missed is verifying the entire face contacts the steel before loading merchandise.

What maintenance or replacement will the magnet key need over time?

Wipe the magnet face and ABS housing with a dry cloth to remove metal dust; no internal parts wear out, but replace the unit if the 5000 gs holding force drops noticeably after heavy daily use.

What limit appears first when the detacher is used continuously in a busy retail lane?

The 60 g key can overheat slightly during rapid successive releases, causing a temporary reduction in magnetic grip until the ABS body cools back to ambient temperature.
