180W AC Adapter for Precision Workstations

This 180 watt AC adapter replaces the original power supply for Dell Precision 7510, 7520, 7530, 7540 and 7550 mobile workstations. It also fits Precision M4600, M4700, M4800, M6300, M6600, M6700 and M6800 models. The unit accepts 100 to 240 VAC input and delivers 19.5 volts at 9.23 amps.

Suitable users and limitations

Buyers with a listed Precision laptop that requires a 7.4 mm by 5.0 mm barrel connector can use this adapter directly. A 7.4 mm to 4.5 mm convert cable is included for devices needing the smaller tip. It will not suit owners of Precision ultraportables, XPS models or any laptop that draws more than 180 watts or uses a different connector size.

Connector and power rating

The critical specification is the 7.4 mm by 5.0 mm barrel connector paired with a 19.5 volt, 9.23 amp output. Verify that the laptop's service tag or original charger label matches this connector geometry and the 180 watt rating before purchase.
