Mop Kit Contents

This Boardwalk 5324C kit provides a complete floor-cleaning system for commercial breakrooms and maintenance teams. It includes two #24 cut-end cotton mop heads with narrow bands and one 60-inch yellow handle made of metal with a plastic quick-change connector. The components arrive ready for simple assembly so cleaning can begin immediately.

Suitable Use Cases

The cotton heads suit general wet mopping on hard floors where an economical, high-absorbency tool is required. Facilities needing microfibre, looped-end or colour-coded heads for specialised sanitation protocols should evaluate other options. Buyers who want more than two mop heads in the initial package will need to order additional heads separately.

Key Specification

The #24 cut-end cotton head size determines the coverage area and fluid capacity for each mopping pass. Match this designation to your existing bucket wringers and replacement-head inventory to ensure compatibility.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the #24 mop heads to the 60" handle?

The handle has a plastic quick-change head; slide each cut-end mop head's narrow band onto it until it locks securely.

When should I replace the cotton mop heads?

Replace them when the cotton fibres fray, no longer absorb liquid well, or develop a persistent odour after washing.

What part of the kit is most likely to fail during long, daily mopping sessions?

The plastic quick-change mechanism on the metal handle can loosen or crack before the cotton heads wear out.
